Dad was released this morning from the hospital and is doing well, though didn't get much sleep. We need to keep him hydrated.
We had a couple nice visits with Mom, though she is very anxious and fidgety as she is coming off her sedation medicine and becoming more aware of her situation. She acts like she is going to just jump out of the bed and take-off if she could.
She still has a slight fever, but her doctor says she is doing very well and might be out of ICU on Monday. The orthopedic surgeon is supposed to check on her shoulder on Monday, as well.
I continue to pray for restful sleep for all of my family as well as to all of you. Thank you for your continued care and support.

Glad to hear that your Dad is doing much better. It is in times like these that we often shift our focus away from ourselves, neglecting our most basic needs. Good to hear of his progress as well. Jen and I have enjoyed reading the blog and have found ourselves eagerly anticipating every entry.
Please know that we are keeping all of you in our thoughts and our prayers until your Mom's recovery is complete.
