We're still hangin in!

Dear Family and Friends,
Anita is still making progress. The pace is slow, but when she does something new she hasn't done before, it's duly noted! She has been going to outpatient rehab for four weeks now, about 20 minutes from the house, 2 hrs at a time, twice a week. Getting in and out of the car is going very smoothly now; she can raise her left arm up over her head, but only with the help of her right arm. The left hand is slowly limbering up thanks to a hand rehab specialist. Anita walks with a four prong cane and a waist strap that someone holds on to. Her distance is getting longer.
We've been to church three or four times and even to a committee meeting last Monday evening. Several weeks ago my sister, my nephew and family and our son and his family were all here for a Sat. night cookout. A house full, but it was good. (Kayla stayed over Friday night just to make it interesting) Did I mention she got back in the groove and completed our taxes on time ?!
