A low key day - stayed in the room

Dear Family and Friends,
Today was a day of family visits, including Katie and Addie who brought their new dolls to show Grandma. (which she bought prior & Allison wrapped) After the visit they headed to North Point Mall to visit the American Girl Store because Katie got an American Girl doll for Christmas. Anita was visited by Allison and Barb Palmer in the afternoon while Ed went home to check email and regular mail.(which was not delivered as anticipated, will try again Monday)
The evening nurse was Anita's first nurse when she came out of ICU. She was so excited to see how much progress Anita had made in the nine days since then.
We met the Dr. who will make some future decisions about Anita's neck, making sure it's OK. She has scheduled an MRI for Monday and Anita has requested some sedative to get her thru that confining process. We trust you are able to be with and enjoy family and friends this holiday season as we are doing. More to come after our invasion of Atlanta Medical Center tomorrow to be with Anita and celebrate our 40th anniversary in modified fashion. Take care, ed
