Catching up, how are you doing?

Dear Family and Friends,
Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ, but sometimes time goes into high gear with family arriving, getting together, friends welcoming each other and making sure children don't get caught up in hyper gear. The past two days have been moving along quickly, even for Anita. We have put to good use the speaker phone on the cell as she talked with family members from around the country. I continue to share with Anita each day wishes and cards .
Wed.- She had her open arm wound surgically worked on by the plastic surgeon, but he did not do a skin graph. That will come two to five days from now. Another doctor noticed, like we did, that her eye movement wasn't in sync and will call in a specialist to take a look. Anita's voice is getting stronger and we're working hard to supplement the hospital bill of fare. Last night she ate a whole Big Mac!
Eric and his family are coming in today so we can exchange Christmas gifts (Anita had done some shopping in Oct and Nov) and plan a scaled done celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday. The anniversary dancing will have to wait for six months.
Yesterday BJ's son Cal and his family paid a visit with their youngest 8 month old which we hadn't seen, her name is Sienna. Anita enjoyed making faces and getting her to smile.
Take care and keep the faith, ed
